If you kept a close eye on Sahara Force India in Abu Dhabi, you’ll have noticed some unusual branding on the cars of Paul Di Resta and Nico Hülkenberg.

As a one-off competition, our team partner, Whyte & Mackay, gave fans the chance to win their names on the cars for the weekend. As prizes go, this is surely the ultimate honour for any Formula One fan. Just ask the lucky winners - Wendy & Keith Murrary from Scotland.

“I remember entering the competition and thinking ‘wow what a fantastic prize,’” says Wendy as she reflects on a special weekend. “I wanted to win it to thank my husband Keith for an amazing 11 years of marriage. So when we heard we had won the competition, it’s hard to describe how excited we were. We couldn’t feel happier if you had told us we had won a million pounds.”

When the cars took to the track, decked out with Wendy & Keith Murrary branding, it was a very special moment for the Scottish couple. “To see your names on a Formula One car is a priceless feeling,” explains Wendy. “How many people can say they have had their names on a car? What a privilege. A definite money-cannot-buy experience that will stay with us both forever.”
