The last F1 race at the Nurburgring started just as a heavy downpour hit the track. A canny tyre change on the formation lap for Markus Winkelhock-drafted in at the last minute for Force India's predecessors. Spyker-put him at the head of the field after just two laps, it was a brilliant debut for the German, whose father had last raced a Formula 1 car on this track before his premature death. |
